Preinstalled server image

The preinstalled-server image allows you to unpack a preinstalled version of Ubuntu-Server onto a target device.

64-bit PC (AMD64) preinstalled server image

Choose this if you have a computer based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). Choose this if you are at all unsure.

64-bit ARM (ARMv8/AArch64) preinstalled server image

For 64-bit ARMv8 processors and above.

Raspberry Pi Generic (64-bit ARM) preinstalled server image

For modern Raspberry Pi boards (Pi 3, 4, 5, CM4, and Zero 2 W).

RISC-V preinstalled server image

For RISC-V computers. Requires copying your own first stage bootloader (like u-boot) and relevant DTBs onto the image before usage on real hardware (like the SiFive HiFive Unmatched). Usable on RISC-V QEMU.
